Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland was founded in 2001 and is dedicated to saving beagles and placing them in loving homes.

Our beagles come in as strays, from shelters, and as owner surrenders. Some only need current vaccinations, regular meals, and love; but others need extensive vetting, nutritional support, or lifesaving surgery before they are ready to be adopted.

So far, we’ve rescued more than 2,500 dogs.

We’re proud of the work we do, but we don’t do it alone. We’re grateful for our network of fosters and the generous donations of beagle devotees throughout the region.
