Meet Finbar!
Hi everyone, this is Finbar, or Fin, as my foster mom likes to call me. Just thought you would like to know that I have completely recovered from my bilateral ACL/Meniscus surgery and can run with the wind. I love my foster home and my foster brothers, but they are old and do not want to play, even when I ask nicely. I would really like a furever home with someone to play with me, human or canine.
I am housebroken and love being with my people, either outside or between them on a dog bed. I have not attempted to land on their lap, but I have mastered couch jumping. I am 5 to 6 years old and a svelte 36 lbs. If I am the boy of your dreams, please put in an application to adopt me.

Finbar came into rescue needing a double ACL surgery. The shelter thought that Finbar had been hit by a car, but our vet said that his injuries tell a different story. Finbar had 2 ruptured ACLs and is barely able to walk — something that an owner couldn’t possibly ignore.
Finbar had clearly been neglected and abused, but the good news is that those days are over. He has recovered beautifully in the loving care of his foster home and is ready to find his forever family!
