Meet Rover!

Meet Rover, a celebrity of sorts. He’s been in the news, on social media, and has captured public interest with his adventurous spirit and good fortune.

Rover is one determined hound dog who journeyed all the way from Brandywine to the Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge in Newburg. That’s 30+ miles of road and crossing major highways. Fortunately, brought to safety thanks to the teamwork between Animal Control, the Maryland Transportation Authorty, and good citizens keeping track of his ever-changing location.

This 57 pound happy hound is now safe and getting some much-needed rest in his foster home!
