Meet Walt Milford
Walter is a beautiful boy. He is perfect for a couple with no small children. He loves his person(s) so much that he should probably be an only dog. But he does well with his foster siblings. He initially preferred his own space but once he is comfortable, he will be on your lap in a single bound, stay a while for some love, then jump off to return again.
He is protective of his food and toys, and at an adoption event, when it became busy, was protective of his foster mom. Walt is house-trained and crate-trained. He will sleep in an open crate until all is quiet, then out to the loveseat to make his bed. He loves being in the yard and will come when called. He is on low-dose Prozac but probably will not need it after he is adjusted to his new home. You need to meet Walt to appreciate his wonderful personality.
