Beagle Bash is an annual fundraiser that enables us to rescue, accept, and care for dogs — especially those most vulnerable — for the next year. The funds we make at Beagle Bash are crucial to our ability to grow our rescue, expand our reach, say “yes!” to shelters, and save dogs’ lives.
With over 2,700 adoptions to date, the Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland family grows larger every day. And we know it will keep growing.
Our volunteers work tirelessly year-round to save every beagle that crosses our path, regardless of how much time, effort, or money it will take.
There’s no better way to celebrate the people who make our work possible than by coming together for a celebration.
Our 25th anniversary celebration in October 2026 will include:
BRSM alumni. 100+ rescued beagles coming together (+honorary beagles!)
Bake sale. We’ll have treats for both humans and pups alike.
Raffle prizes. This includes the big TV, plus a special corporate sponsor raffle! 
Photobooth. Snap a photo with your dog and pose for photos with Snoopy. 
Goodie bags for all attendees. We’re glad you came! 
Adoptable dogs. Come see who needs a home! 
Delicious food. Join us for lunch! Purchase snacks, pizza from S’barros, and more.

We are SO EXCITED that professional pet photographer Rachel Richey has volunteered her time to offer mini-sessions at Beagle Bash.
A typical pet session with Rachel costs $450, but Rachel is offering attendees the opportunity to get portraits of their dogs in exchange for a donation to BRSM.
She will only be taking pets for 2 hours, so you can reserve your spot in advance to ensure you get a portrait!
Photos will be taken in front of a beautiful backdrop and will be set up like a studio shoot!
Guests will get a copy of their photo both in color and a dramatic black-and-white option. (Because beagles are definitely not known for their drama!)
Submit a picture of your pet and create a customized painting of them!
50% of the proceeds go to Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland.
