Meet Evans St. Mary’s!
Evans is a 12-year-old gentle soul. He wants to be with his people, but not too close. He will sniff your hand and take treats, but is not yet fond of being petted. He reminds his foster of Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh. He walks well with you on a leash.
He is cage trained and will go into an open cage to rest or lay near you on a blanket or bed. He potties outside.
His favorite activity lately has been sunbathing on the nice days for several hours. I make him come inside on really hot days after an hour. He also likes to take toys out of the toy bin but doesn’t really play with them. If you are also a senior and want a loyal companion, then Evans is the man for you. He is hoping for a furever home to enjoy his golden years.
Evan enjoys the presence of other dogs (like his buddy Bob) and was very stressed in the shelter environment. He is looking for a home with love and patience to help him adjust to life inside.
