Meet Rebel!
Rebel is a sweet, 11-year-old, 41 lb male beagle. Rebel needs a foster or adoptive home as soon as possible. His owner is in hospice and Rebel is losing his best friend, his home and his sense of security.
Rebel is housetrained and walks well on a leash. He is a couch potato and hasn’t had the exercise he needs to shed a few pounds. He would do best in a home with no young children, cats or overly energetic dogs. Rebel was very attached to his owner and followed him everywhere.
He has developed separation anxiety over the years and is currently treated with medication. Increased exercise, activities, and mental stimulation would also benefit Rebel. Rebel would be well suited for someone who is retired or works from home.
