Meet Ozzie!
Ozzie is around 4 years old and weighs around 18 lbs. He is crate-trained, housebroken (as long as he is taken out regularly), and loves playing with toys. He can be a little standoffish with strangers at first, but if you sit on the floor with him and give him a few treats, you will have him in your lap in no time. He loves sitting in laps.
He hasn’t been around kids or cats yet, but has done well with the dogs he has been around (mostly small dogs though). He is hoping to put his past behind him and find a new family full of toys and cuddles.
We don’t know exactly what Ozzie’s past life was like, but it was bad enough that animal control impounded him along with 4 other dogs (we think mom, dad, and three siblings). Then at the shelter, he caught a bad case of pneumonia and was on the brink of whether he would recover or not. But he did and has turned out to be a sweet, playful, happy little guy.
We don’t know exactly what he is. Based on his looks, we are going with beagle/dachshund/pug mix!
