Meet Monty!
Monty is a perfect pocket beagle boy! He’s 23 pounds and 5 years old. Like a typical beagle, Monty’s favorite activity is following his nose wherever it may lead him. He loves exploring his foster’s fenced backyard and going on walks. Monty sleeps all night in his crate and is doing well with house training—he already knows how to use his foster’s doggy door! He is quiet and doesn’t mind being alone.
Monty was found as a stray and underweight. He is healing nicely in his foster home and eagerly eating to put on pounds. He loves to curl up in his dog bed or sleep in the grass. Monty would do well as a solo dog so he can soak up all the human attention. He would also do well with another calm dog and kid siblings.
Monty is ready to leave his rough past behind him and become your loving companion. If you are looking for a small and gentle beagle, then Monty is your boy!
