Meet Milo!
Milo is a 10-year-old male Beagle. Animal Control picked him up, and when his family was contacted, they chose not to pay the $50 reclaim fee. They said he had become “too much of a hassle.”
And just like that, after 10 years of loyalty, Milo became homeless.
Despite everything, Milo remains the same kind, gentle soul he’s always been. He’s sweet, friendly, and patient, the kind of dog who quietly wins everyone over. His former owner shared that he has successfully lived with young children under 10, two unaltered male dogs, and one unaltered female dog. He’s also housebroken and well-mannered.
After 2 weeks in his foster’s house, he’s showing his fun side. Every day, he pulls out each of the 20 or so toys and plays with each one of them. He will play fetch with a plush toy for about 3 innings. And he loves a good blow-drying session.
At 10 years old, Milo deserves peace, comfort, and love — sometimes the most grateful dogs are the ones who’ve lost the most. 💔
