Meet Luci!

Luci and her housemate Huey were recently surrendered to BRSM due to their owner’s illness. She’s about 7 years old, spayed, housetrained, and a little overweight.

She has been a fantastic dog at the office with her foster, mainly napping but she still has a lot of party in her! She loves to play and go for long walks.

Luci loves meeting people, but in her bursts of running after things of interest on our walks, most of the time she chases men down the street yelling at them. (Can you blame her? Just kidding!!)

Her foster says that 1:1, Luci seems fine with men and hasn’t identified exactly what it is about the men she chases that bothers her. “She may just be a girls’ girl!”

Luci has been phenomenal with the neighbor’s 2 year old and perks up when she hears kids or sees a stroller…. She lived for 5 years with a 4 kid family, and she must have really loved them. 😍

A family she can enjoy or someone active plus social for exercise and a lot of human interaction would be a good fit for Luci.

Luci thrives as an only dog, and does well with other dogs and isn’t aggressive — she does get feisty around some dogs, mostly before she’s had enough exercise.
