Meet Garrett!

Garrett is a cuddly, friendly little guy (12 lbs!) who loves to play. He gets along well with other dogs, but not cats. Garrett is heartworm positive, which is not contagious and is 100% treatable.

He’s basically a barely trained puppy who is too cute for words, who gets in a liiiiittle bit of trouble when left alone for an extended period.

He is a total cuddle bug. He’s mostly housebroken, but if he dances around too long while we get a harness on him, or if he gets super excited, he may piddle a bit. We think he is super young. He is still in the chew phase and likes to eat shoes, hats, etc. He gets a lot of toys, which he loves, but he also eviscerates them eventually. (he is part beagle, after all.)

He adores everyone and is way adorable. He would probably be able to escape most fences or crawl into very small places to get to a squirrel, so his fosters never take him offleash and would be very careful about that in a forever home for him.

He has started injections for heartworm treatment, so is currently on restricted activity until he’s fully healed up! ❤️‍🩹
