About a month ago, Flora arrived in an overcrowded shelter as a stray. Flora is shy, but warms up to people quickly and enjoys attention. She is a laid-back beagle who enjoys the company of other dogs. Flora is about 5 years old, weighs 34 pounds & is now searching for her forever home!

Flora is house-trained and is fine with snoozing in a crate although she prefers to be out where the action is. She loves to follow her foster humans and foster dog siblings around everywhere. She is an A+ cuddler who will happily keep you company on your couch or bed.

Flora would love a quiet home with humans who are around most of the day to keep her company and a fenced yard. She is scared of loud noises, so a rural or suburban neighborhood would be ideal.

Flora would like a dog sibling to help her build her confidence, but would also do well as a solo dog and soaking up all the attention. She enjoyed meeting kids on a recent outing and would be fine living with older children who treat her gently.

Flora has a beautiful tricolor beagle coat with a sweet personality to match. If you are looking for a calm, lovable beagle companion, then Flora is your girl!
