Meet Danny!

Danny came into rescue at approximately 60lbs. when his owner died. He now weighs around 44 pounds and looks svelte! He LOVES walks, and he is now very healthy! He is a beautiful dog and is loved by everyone who meets him.

❤️ He loves snuggles
❤️ He gives the best greeting when you get home, with lots of kisses and excitement
❤️ He loves people — he is warm and affectionate with strangers and friends alike
❤️ He is smart and generally accepts redirection
❤️ He has not had any accidents inside the house
❤️ He is crate trained

He is dog reactive, so his foster mom is mindful around other dogs (no close-up interaction). His foster received training on how best to walk him in their populated community. BRSM will provide resources to Danny’s adopter to help him work through reactivity and ensure a smooth transition! Danny has no problems seeing and being around other dogs (he attended an adoption event with 13 other dogs and did just fine) as long as they give him space to himself (no greetings for this guy!)

Danny enjoys being the only child and is a very loyal, loving, and affectionate boy!
