Fill out the adoption application below to begin the adoption process!

STEP 1: Fill out an Adoption Application. We check all references, and we do not accept incomplete applications.

STEP 2: Once a home visit has been completed, we help match you to the best dog for your home and family.

STEP 3: We arrange a meeting between you and the selected dog, or suggest a dog who might be a better fit for your home.

STEP 4: A $400 donation, along with a signed Adoption Agreement, is due at the time you pick up the dog.

Our goal is to place dogs in homes where they will be happy, healthy, and well cared for throughout their lives.

Please fill out the adoption application in its entirety. You can expect it to take 10-20 minutes. Blank spaces or incomplete applications will either take additional time to review or will be denied.

BRSM only approves adopters and fosters after a home visit, and our volunteers are located within a few hours of the DMV (MD/VA/WV/PA/DE/DC). If you are from other states or regions, we recommend finding a beagle rescue closer to you.
