Meet Abby P. George!

Follow her on Instagram here.

Due to her tough life prior to rescue, new people and many everyday things are scary to Abby, but she is making strides daily. It seems as though living in a house is new to her, but she is adapting quickly. Abby has already conquered her fear of the steps and quickly learned the kids in her foster home aren’t so scary.

Her foster family is working with her on socialization and has seen significant improvements in her conquering her fears. ❤️ Abby very much wants to be with her foster family all the time and doesn’t like being by herself.

When Abby finally met her beagle foster siblings after 2 weeks of quarantine due to kennel cough and pneumonia, she absolutely loves them! She loves to play in the yard with them and would greatly benefit from having a dog sibling (or two!) in her forever home.

Abby loves her bed, cozy blankets, and especially her toys! She regularly naps in her bed, surrounded by all of them. Abby rides wonderfully in the car and will soon begin going to work — and everywhere else dogs are welcome — with her foster mom, to continue showing her that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place.

Abby‘s ideal forever home would be with a person or family who has dog experience, who has time to continue helping her acclimate to life as an inside dog. She will need a solid fence – 6 feet is a good idea – because our tall girl can jump!
